Meet Our Staff

Senior Pastor

Willie Washington Jr.

Willie Washington, Jr. is Senior Pastor and organizer of Word of Life Christian Fellowship International in Orange, New Jersey. He is ordained, lives and serves in the community where he was called to ministry.

Pastor Willie Washington, Jr. received the vision for Word of Life Christian Fellowship International in 2000. The Lord instructed him to go and teach the Word of God with simplicity. God said that many who had been wounded, bruised and rejected would come to find love, support and acceptance through this ministry, regardless of their racial, cultural or socio-economic backgrounds.

The Lord instructed Pastor Washington and his wife, Hazel, to use what they had to begin carrying out their assignment on September 3, 2000.

Pastor Washington comprehends the necessity to produce understanding of the Word in the hearts of God's people. He believes that it is no longer good enough to just read, sing, and shout about the power of God and never see the results of His power. But rather, God's people must grow to a place where they begin to experience the favor and the power of God manifested in their daily lives.

Word of Life is a non-denominational church actively involved in the United Clergy of the Oranges, Inc., of which he is passed President. National spiritual overseer to Wailing Women Worldwide. Also, Coordinator to Pastor to Pastor of New Jersey and New York. And is an affiliate of Creflo Dollar Ministerial Association (CDMA) under the direction of Dr. Creflo Dollar, Jr. Senior Pastor of World Changers Church International.

As an under shepherd in the Oranges, Pastor Washington desires to maximize the call upon his life by God. Thusly, giving and sharing of himself impacting young and old alike by teaching that change can and will come in their lives.

Men's Ministry Pastor

Douglas Evans

In 1995, after receiving a prophetic word spoken by Dr. Artis Cash, Doug accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and joined University Bible Center under the covering of Apostle Robert E. Jeffries.

At the age of 26, one evening while playing video games, he heard a voice say put the game down and grab your bible. When he grabbed the bible and opened it, it opened at I Corinthians 13:11 which reads ' When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Doug clearly knew he heard the voice of the Lord. It initially alarmed him, but it also initiated a desire and thirsting to get to know God and his word. After this encounter, he began studying the word of God. This led to him being licensed as an Evangelist in 2001 and ordained as an Evangelist the following year.

Doug served as the Intercessory Prayer leader and was later ordained as an Elder in 2004. He later joined Word of Life Christian Fellowship under the covering of Pastor Willie Washington Jr. where he is a part of the ministerial staff.

Doug was born and raised in Newark, NJ and has been married for 28 years and has three children and one grandchild.
